From its humble beginning in the 70’s, the Haitian-American community began to take shape in the early 80’s during the Cuban Mariel boatlift. Concurrently with other minority group such as African-Americans and Cubans, they did not waste any time in asserting themselves using language (Haitian Creole) and other cultural mores that set them apart from the rest while simultaneously contributing to the development of the larger community. As the community grows and takes root in South Florida, its needs for medical care, legal services, consumer goods grow exponentially. The Haitian-American market is here to stay and the opportunities for businesses are enormous. Koze Fanm Network has long seen the possibilities, which is why we offer our proven groundbreaking experience to service our clients.
